Dropping on the heels of last week’s Unit SS watch release, Nixon announces it’s next collective installment with the debut of The Rover SS. An upgrade from the original Rover’s leather band and casual features, the SS edition dawns complete stainless steel change-outs, including band, casing, dials and coin-edge textured bezel. Offered in vertically brushed silver, gunmetal or black, the watch touts Japanese Miyota movement and a hardened mineral crystal face with date magnifier, built safe up to 100 meters under water. Retailing at $250, the Rover SS is available at Nixon stockists internationally.
Tag-lined ‘The Unit SS,’ simply put, Nixon’s latest release in it’s ever growing watch collection introduces a near complete stainless steel design – a revamp on the original Unit’s polycarbonate and double injected silicone construction. Employing the rugged metal throughout, almost every aspect of the SS timepiece features stainless steel – from case and bezel, to screw pins and wristband. Consistent with the original, the watch houses an LED display with time, date, and temperature functions, etc. Offered in Black/Green and Silver/Red, the Unit SS is available at local Nixon dealers.Nixon, watches

Offered in dark navy or burgundy, The Rover ($250 USD) uses 3-hand Japanese quartz, NATO nylon band construction, stainless steel keepers and a molded buckle. Option two dawns The Rover Automatic ($500 USD) with hits of hunter green, constructed with Miyota 9015 3-hand slim Japanese automatic movement, a custom stainless steel band and double locking clasps.
