Under bright, bluebird skies, 18 of the world’s most notable up-and-comers alongside the icons of snowboarding push the sport to a new level, as Red Bull Supernatural makes its inaugural debut at Baldface Lodge, in BC, Canada. The 32,000-acre snowboarding paradise, in the Kootenay Mountains, sets the stage for a one-day backcountry boarding competition, designed to show off and test each athlete’s strengths in various disciplines of the sport. Integrating natural terrain, big mountain lines, fresh powder, pillows and adverse obstacles, the custom-made course postures to call upon all necessary skills of the rider and ultimately crown the best all-around snowboarder on the planet.
