Nike has come up with yet another way to revolutionize the running shoe. The HTM Flyknit series, featuring yarn and fabric on the upper, was inspired by style leader Hiroshi Fujiwara, Nike design legend Tinker Hatfield and Nike’s CEO and designer Mark Parker. The HTM Flyknit will come in 3 different models: The HTM Runner featured in US Track & Field colors and two color variations of the HTM Trainer+ featuring the Lunarlon midsole. The idea behind the shoe is to create seamless, formfitting and featherweight construction. Just to get a sense of just how light these shoes are, a size 9 Flyknit comes in at a staggering 5.6 ounces. Due out this summer.
