In the final installment of the campaign, Nike Skateboarding team riders Paul Rodriguez, Eric Koston, Sean Malto, Alex Olson, Stefan Janoski and Omar Salazar showcase their skills as they skate the streets and parks of Shenzhen, China. With a camera mounted on the skaters chest, the commercial is shot through the athletes point of view and offers a personal take on what its like to be one of the worlds best skateboarders.
The final edit features Nike athlete Paul Rodriguez and the launch of his sixth signature shoe, the P-Rod VI. Paul has had an amazing run over the last month with a gold in the XGames Street competition, a win at the Street League Series and the debut of his newest collection.

Marking the official debut of Nike Skateboarding’s newest Training Facility, Sixth & Mill opened it’s downtown Los Angeles doors on Friday night to welcome athletes, media partners and tastemakers alike. Timed to coincide with the launch of his latest pro model shoe, SB team rider Paul Rodriguez took MC responsibilities, introducing the space and unveiling the new P-Rod VI. With special performance by Atlanta rapper Killer Mike and a crowded open bar, the event went strong into the night as Nike and friends once again celebrated a successful activation. Located in LA’s industrial district, the converted S&M warehouse hosts a private skatepark, event space, showrooms, editing rooms, swimming pool, and lounge areas. Celebrating 10 years since first opening it’s doors on San Francisco’s Sutter Street in 2002, the HUF brand introduced a limited edition 10th Anniversary Photo Tee Series. Teaming up with various influential photographers from skateboarding past, HUF is scheduled to release a new installment to the series each month through 2012. Tapping into the spontaneous energy of professional skaters on tour, musical duo The 2 Bears joined forces with the Girl x Chocolate skateboard team for the making of the band’s “Warm and Easy” music video. Shot on location in Central America, during the filming of Girl x Chocolate’s upcoming full length skateboard film “Pretty Sweet,” the 2:57 music video captures the team skating, traveling and lip-syncing across Panamanian, Nicaraguan and Costa Rican borders. Skateboarder turned executive chef, the ’21′ Club’s John Greeley re-introduced iconic deck art with his custom 30+ board collection. Locating vintage decks, scanning sections of in-tact art and bringing it all together via Photoshop, Greeley meticulously re-created complete pieces to be hand-screened onto fresh blanks in their original glory. Including the popular Hosoi Rising Sun and complete series from Powell, Zorlac and Dogtown, Greeley’s collection archives the ranks of the most classic skateboards ever made. Celebrating two classic American brand-icons, Nike Skateboarding and Levi’s have teamed up for a collaborative collection due out this summer. Designed specifically for skateboarders, the collection highlights an updated version of the popular Levi’s 511 skinny with a Nike spin. Featuring premium sourced denim from the coveted Cone Mills, the slim-fit style features an industrial strength Vectran weave alongside Nike’s Dri-Fit moisture management system and Levi’s Waterless finishing process. Set to release in two distinct iterations, the jeans are available in the Made in the USA 511 Skateboarding Team Edition ($198 USD) and the 511 Skateboarding ($98 USD) version, both offered in a range colors and washes. Converting a rundown house into the Salzburg Skate Villa, designer, photographer and Red Bull athlete Philipp Schuster remodeled the once-glamorous Austrian hunting lodge to create an originally styled indoor skatepark. Tucked away between vintage furniture and lodge decor are the tasteful additions of concrete mini ramps, jumps, lips and legdes. Sponsored by Red Bull’s DIY Supply program, the renovation of the lodge restored the house to it original gleam while introducing new life as a skate spot destination. Traveling East for the brand’s latest video project, Nike Skateboarding touches down in Taiwan with a heavy hitting international crew. Featuring Justin Brock, Youness Amrani, Wieger Van Wageningen, as well as European team riders Marek Zaprazny and Daiel Lebron, the 4:26 minute video captures untouched skate spots, Nike’s ‘go big or go home’ style riding and some noteworthy Asian flavor.
