London’s iconic skate spot, BaySixty6, re-opens in collaboration with Nike Skateboarding, introducing the UK’s most state-of-the-art facility to date. Helmed by Nike SB, with the help of Skatepark Amsterdam’s expert design team, the sub-Westway skatepark underwent a two-month overhaul to include a 6-ft hipped wooden bowl, quarters, flat banks, rails, hubbas, driveways, wall rides and revolutionary hydraulic ledge, never before seen. Fresh concrete throughout, updated lighting schemes and a robust sound system finish the redesigned space, while a renovated shop and event area complete the venue’s reimagined functionality.
