Expanding on the brand’s pre-existing surfboard range, Sitka introduces two pro models into it’s growing production lineup. Shaped to the exacting specifications of team riders Noah Cohen and Peter Devries, both custom designed sleds have been fine tuned to each surfer’s unique riding style. Developed for smaller and flatter days, Cohen’s “Hatchet” model rides two inches shorter and half an inch wider than a standard shortboard – allowing for added speed through the flats, with rails designed to handle steeper and more powerful wave faces. Created with contrasting specs, Dervie’s “Pocket Knife” model delivers a thinned out high performance shortboard – built for the aggressive airs, tubes and turns he’s become known for. Available direct at Sitka Flagship stores and for order at the same, both boards are offered in polyurethane ($599 CAD) or XTR epoxy ($699 CAD). Check out “Tricks of the Trade” parts I and II below for full video intros on each board.
