The label’s slimmest pant style to date, this latest silhouette features a dropped rise and inseam tapered leg, allowing for the pant leg to stack at the wearer’s knees or ankles. Offered in four stretch-twill constructed styles, including moto-inspired knee designs and a fleece-insert panel delivery, each variation comes in six basic colorways. Set to officially debut in three months time in Sochi, Russia, Burton unveils the 2014 U.S. Olympic Snowboard team uniforms. Tapped for their third consecutive winter games, Burton partnered with the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association to once again create a one-of-a-kind uniform designed to represent both the Olympic spirit and America’s longstanding creative heritage. The 2014 competition kit features an inspired American vintage patchwork jacket, showcasing Burton’s never before seen DRYRIDE Vaporshell laminate, as well as off-white corduroy pants, debuting the brand’s weatherproof DRYRIDE Nanonshell laminate. Complimenting the uniforms technical outerwear pieces Burton has additionally designed first-layer bottoms and tops, three unique beanies, gloves/mitts and a mid-weight wool/silk blend pull-over fleece. Joining forces for an anticipated Fall 2012 delivery, street icon Stussy and snowboard garment-ier Holden introduce a 5 piece collaborative collection designed for on-the-go functionality. A fashion-focused response to the lifestyle requirements for an active one week road trip, “Stussy by Holden” postures to provide the necessities for a journey from the peaks of the great Northwest to the shores of Southern California. Consistent with Holden’s classic style of understated detail, the line features two military-inspired jackets ($300/400 USD), a pack-able vest ($220 USD), a CPO field shirt ($165 USD), and a field pant ($290 USD) — all constructed with eco-friendlier fabrics, updated tailored fits and technical performance. In correlation with the release, Holden/Stussy chose ten people (three athletes, one filmer, one driver, and five individuals from all walks of media) to embark on an epic journey in March of 2012, pursuing a healthy lifestyle of snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding, fishing, camping, and city adventures, all in the span of one week. In anticipation of the brand’s latest apparel collection, slated to drop Spring 2013, Globe pulls back the curtain for an early preview, with the release of it’s new GoodStock Chino and Jean range. Delivering casual and semi-casual options, the line sheds light on the quality and styling that can be expected from next year’s full apparel launch. The GoodStock Jean ($50 USD) comes in a slim fit, five-pocket and zip-fly design, constructed from right hand twill weave stretch denim and genuine leather branding. Available in blue black, camel, vineyard, field green, foliage and brick red. Likewise the GoodStock Chino ($55 USD) employs a similar five-pocket design, made from 100% cotton stretch twill, offered in stone, rust and navy colorways.
