Hosting 11 of the world’s most innovative surf brands, Australian based STAB Magazine kicks off the southern summer with A Poolside Love Affair contest, postured to create the ultimate boardshort. Briefed with a copy of Slim Aarons’ book “Poolside,” a collection of photos capturing the über rich and their sun soaked soirees from 1950 to 1990, each brand was tasked with finding inspiration from a lifestyle without limitations. Highlighting the best the industry has to offer, STAB’s first online competition features 11 one-of-a-kind takes on the surf trunk in it’s purest form. Open to online voting October 15-26, readers will choose the winning design to be celebrated as the “world’s best surf trunks” in the forthcoming print issue of STAB, as well as featured on the cover, dawned by the surfer of their choice.
