Round 2. GQ Menswear Designer of the Year nominee Rick Klotz and his surf-centric Warriors of Radness brand introduce a second wave of 2012 Spring apparel to compliment their initial PART 1 release. The label’s distinctly So-Cal-inspired collection pulls from surfing’s colorful past, walking the fine line between classic 80′s surf threads and current-day street wear. Falling right in-line with the first, Part 2 offers a full range of beach essentials including attention grabbing t-shirts, tanks, jackets, pants, pullovers, walkshorts and of course boardshorts. Constructed using vintage-esq cottons, denims and nylons the line could just as easily have come from your cool uncle’s attic as it could the rack of a high-end retailer. Taking inspiration from the fine transition between sand and city, the ’80s vint fashion pulls from the uniquely-California styles of a generation’s youth. As in seasons past, this year’s spring collection features the distinctly colorful WOR tees, tanks, walk shorts and board shorts, as well as Jeff Spicoli-esq button-ups and elastic waisted/cuffed pants.
