Joining forces for an anticipated Fall 2012 delivery, street icon Stussy and snowboard garment-ier Holden introduce a 5 piece collaborative collection designed for on-the-go functionality. A fashion-focused response to the lifestyle requirements for an active one week road trip, “Stussy by Holden” postures to provide the necessities for a journey from the peaks of the great Northwest to the shores of Southern California. Consistent with Holden’s classic style of understated detail, the line features two military-inspired jackets ($300/400 USD), a pack-able vest ($220 USD), a CPO field shirt ($165 USD), and a field pant ($290 USD) — all constructed with eco-friendlier fabrics, updated tailored fits and technical performance. In correlation with the release, Holden/Stussy chose ten people (three athletes, one filmer, one driver, and five individuals from all walks of media) to embark on an epic journey in March of 2012, pursuing a healthy lifestyle of snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding, fishing, camping, and city adventures, all in the span of one week. The road trip was documented and edited into a very cool video piece, debuted below (1:39). The “Stussy by Holden” Collection drops 10/24, available at select retailers worldwide and online at holdenouterwear.com. See the full range and video lookbook (4:15) below.Holden, Stussy
