The latest from GoPro’s video vaults features wingsuit pilot Brandon Mikesell navigating the expansive mountainside of Walenstadt, Switzerland. Captured from multiple angles in incredible 4K quality the flight soars through tree-lined valleys, over local farm houses and danger close to craggy granite cliffs. Filmed on GoPro’s HERO3+, Walenstadt’s mountain range reaches heights of 7,438 ft.
Bolstering the already extensive GoPro accessories market, new shadow brand Gripix introduces a range of active camera rigs to make shooting even more user friendly. The cornerstone of Gripix’s product line is the handgun-style Wi-Fi Trigger Handle, an ergonomically designed grip system with built-in camera controls and internal housing for GoPro’s wireless control. Using the the Trigger Handle the rig can further be upgraded by attaching it directly to a proprietary pole system or a low hanging suitcase grip system with lighting and mic attachments.
