For the first time in the company’s 35 year history, Jake Burton, Founder and CEO of Burton Snowboards, has built his own signature model snowboard named ‘The Stone Hut,’ handcrafted in super limited edition to the count of just 100 pieces. Designed and produced in Craig’s Proto Facility, Burton’s state of the art R&D lab, the board is a product of months of Jake’s fine tuning to create the perfect ride for a Vermont powder day in the park. A twin shaped freestyle board with powder nose and freestyle tail, each Stone Hut is finished with personally meaningful Jimi Hendrix graphics and hand signed by Jake himself. Additionally, each board comes with a specially packaged support kit, including EST CantBEDs, Sharpie for binding stance markings, EST Tool, credit card sized wax scraper, downloadable Hendrix track, vintage Burton Snowboard stickers and Jake’s office phone number – for any questions, comments or feedback the 100 may have. Offered in 150cm and 155cm, the immediately collectable Stone Hut snowboard ($649.95 USD) drops today, at select Burton retail accounts.
