Pushing the company’s flagship silhouette, Dusters California introduces it’s latest Ace Cruiser design with the release of the vintage inspired Retro for 2013. Giving nod to the golden age of 1970′s era skateboarding, the complete features flat deck construction – using natural wood and bamboo inlays – matching urethane wheels, stainless steel trucks and invisible grip. Globe Bantam ST Cruiser Holiday 2013

Globe stacks a new series of plastic cruiser skateboards to it’s lineup with the allover-print Graphic Bantam ST. A scaled down version of the original, the ST is the smaller, lighter successor to the full size injection molded Bantam. Featuring a swallowtail design, the mini-me complete dawns Globe’s S-Trac griptape, as well as the brand’s custom 59mm wheels and 3.5″ trucks. Offered in 6 distinct colorways, the Bantam ST ($90 USD) comes in Green Kona, Grandma’s Couch, Walnut, Zebra, Leopard and Camo. Images in the slides above, more action in the video below. The synonymous collective of both Globe’s snowboard team and co-owners at YES. Snowboards – RDM, DCP and JPS (Romain De Marchi, David Carrier Porcheron and JP Solberg) have brought the fore-mentioned brands together on a collaborative boot and cruiserboard release for Winter 2013. Featuring the hiker styled Globe x YES. Apres Boot – waterproof and abrasion resistant, the boot dawns a full grain black leather upper with rubber laminated Vibram Sole and spring loaded lace clasping system. In addition, the release also includes a co-branded 7-ply maple skateboard (32″ x 8.25″), designed with custom deck/wheel art, painted trucks and understated snowboard inspired griptape with faux bindign holes pre-die-cut. Nike SB Holiday 2012 Krampus Collection

An SB counterpoint to St. Nicholas’ bias for the well behaved, Nike and skate artist Sean Cliver introduce a collection featuring a horned hero of the moral spectrum’s darker extreme. Depicting a faun-esq type character named Krampus, the special edition kit features a custom Nike SB Dunk Hi dawning red and black colorways, tongue branding, custom graphic insoles and hits of fur lining throughout. An additional line of supporting Krampus products are also in the pipeline, including a branded hat and two t-shirts. Available exclusively through select Nike Skateboarding stokcists, the full line hits store shelves on December 5.

‘Bones Brigade’ Film Release x Original Team Deck Re-Issues

The latest film project from skateboard legend turned movie director (Riding Giants, Dogtown and Z-Boys), Stacy Peralta presents the definitive story behind the most-famous, most-influential, and sometimes most-troubled team in the sport’s fifty-year history; BONES BRIGADE An Autobiography. In support of the movie’s November 6 release, Powell-Peralta has decided to re-issue the Brigade team’s original decks (Steve Caballero, Tony Hawk, Mike McGill, Tommy Guerrero, Rodney Mullen and Lance Mountain), available through the film’s online pop-up shop – as well as one-of-a-kind boards, posters, t-shirts, jackets and trophies from each skater’s personal collection vaults. Nike SB re-opens West London’s BaySixty6

London’s iconic skate spot, BaySixty6, re-opens in collaboration with Nike Skateboarding, introducing the UK’s most state-of-the-art facility to date. Helmed by Nike SB, with the help of Skatepark Amsterdam’s expert design team, the sub-Westway skatepark underwent a two-month overhaul to include a 6-ft hipped wooden bowl, quarters, flat banks, rails, hubbas, driveways, wall rides and revolutionary hydraulic ledge, never before seen. Fresh concrete throughout, updated lighting schemes and a robust sound system finish the redesigned space, while a renovated shop and event area complete the venue’s reimagined functionality. Opened on September 15, the new BaySixty6 hosted a Nike Skateboarding team demo with Justin Brock, Wieger Van Wageningen, Theotis Beasley, Sean Malto, Fernando Bransmark, Korahn Gayle, Neil Smith, Chris Jones, Jak Pietryga, Joey Pressey, Daniel Kinlock and new team rider Kyron Davis. 33 years after it’s birth, skateboarding’s transcendent Bones Brigade reemerges in an autobiographical film, postured to capture the true essence and historical impact of the sport’s most iconic team. Presented by Vans, directed by Stacy Peralta, and starring the original Brigade’s Steve Caballero, Tony Hawk, Mike McGill, Tommy Guerrero, Rodney Mullen and Lance Mountain, the film follows the beginnings of the modern street skate era, reinvention of endemic advertising, creation of the skate video, and introduction to skateboarding’s most influential athletes behind it all.
