Redesigning Quik’s original ‘Griffin’ silhouette, each limited edition pair is hand crafted from a single broken skateboard deck, fitted with Carl Zeiss CR39 polarized lenses and individually numbered. Honoring the unique story behind each repurposed piece, delivery includes a polaroid photo of the original board, as well as a short history on the board’s original owner. Sales from the release help fund ongoing efforts by the Skateistan project, working to create skate programmes for children in developing countries.
